Special Education Programs

Bridge City ISD offers a continuum of instructional options based on individual student needs. These services include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Itinerant service
  • Inclusion support
  • Content mastery
  • Resource service
  • Self-contained 
  • Infant/Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)
  • Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
  • Homebound
  • Regional Day School Program for the Deaf
  • Speech 
  • Transition 
  • Vocational adjustment class (VAC)

Related services are defined as those supportive services that may be required to assist a student to benefit from special education.  Related services can include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Special transportation
  • Occupational therapy
  • Physical therapy 
  • In-home training
  • Parent Training
  • Counseling
  • Orientation and mobility training
