FB Student Spectators

August 23, 2022

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Welcome to the 2022 season of Cardinal Football! Thank you for your continued support of our students and our
schools.

Friday night football provides an opportunity for our students to showcase the talents and skills they have worked so
hard to develop. Our Football Team, Strutters, Band, and Cheerleaders draw a large crowd of supporters. Friday
nights don’t get much better than they are in Bridge City, Texas. What an electric atmosphere! Each game we host
we have the opportunity to show our support for our students, our schools, and our community as a whole. We also
have the opportunity to give our guests a glimpse of the tradition and pride that is present in our incREDible school
district and community. Thank you for supporting our students in a positive and respectful manner throughout all
contests and performances.

In an effort to maintain a safe environment and memorable experience for all, we ask for your assistance in the
following areas:
1. All students in sixth grade and younger must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult to enter
games.
2. All students and young people will be required to sit in the stands. Students and young people must
refrain from loitering and/or gathering below the stands.
3. Athletic equipment (any type of balls, bats, skateboards, bicycles, frisbees, scooters, rollerblades, etc.)
are prohibited in the stadium.
4. Parents of “Wild Cards” need to meet their students on the track after they run through the tunnel and
escort them to the stands.

Students and young people who choose not to follow the rules will be warned and then asked to leave the stadium.
Students who choose not to follow the rules may also face potential disciplinary action from their respective
schools.

Thank you for your continued support of the Bridge City Cardinals and for helping us maintain a positive, safe
environment, and memorable Friday Night experience for our students and our community.

It’s a great day to be a Cardinal!

Respectfully,
Dr. Mike Kelly
Superintendent of Schools
